Designing a More Sustainable Future: ESG in Life & Health Insurance
The world around us is changing faster than ever, changes are more interconnected and, the scale of impact is growing.
Ultimately, the effects of such systemic change will be on the life and health of individuals, their families and the communities in which they live.
Designing a more sustainable future is more important than ever, so how is the life and insurance industry responding? And, with evolving regulation and consumer expectations around ESG, how can insurers think about them as a tool for strategic growth?
It’s a complex topic, so we brought an amazing group together to explore it, including: RGA, RGAX, Sabine VanderLinden, George Kesselman, Jean-Stéphane Gourévitch, Tunde Salako, Nonso Oporum and Luca Schnettler.
We sought to provide perspective and insight on:
- The challenges
- How the insurance ecosystem is responding – from incumbents to new players
- Where potential opportunities lie
- Key considerations for building more sustainable life & health products
A big (massive) thank you to everyone who contributed to the discussion.
This is an ever-evolving topic and so we’d love to hear your thoughts on how the sector could and should consider developing more sustainable products and services.
