Beyond Boundaries | Inside ITC Europe 2026 with Ian Carpenter

In the latest Beyond Boundaries episode, Sønr’s Matt Connolly, CEO & Founder, speaks with Ian Carpenter, Portfolio Director for ITC Europe & ITC London.

For Ian, this year’s event was all about connection and for what it’s worth, it was one of the best European shows we’ve attended for many years. 

Across three days, ITC Europe brought together 650 people from 32 countries, with a mix of content, conversations, demos, meetings and partnership opportunities across the insurance ecosystem.

The discussion also looks at some of the formats that worked particularly well, including closed-door roundtables, workshops and the Challenge Lab format, which created a more interactive way for early-stage insurtechs to respond to live industry challenges.

For us, that is what made ITC Europe stand out.

The event brought together insurers, insurtechs, partners and market leaders in a setting designed not only for content, but for connection.

For Sønr, it was also an opportunity to keep doing what Beyond Boundaries is built for: getting into the rooms where insurance innovation is happening, speaking to the people leading it, and sharing those conversations with the wider market.

Ian also confirms that ITC Europe will return to Barcelona next year, with the date moving slightly to the middle of June.
