Hello, and welcome to the Sønr Insurtech 100 – a compilation of the leading startups, scaleups and innovators driving change across insurance.
We’ve been producing this report annually since 2018 and it’s borne out of months of work by the Sønr team, researching, analysing and connecting with tens of thousands of companies around the world. These are then meticulously scored by a set of world-class industry experts to arrive at our final ranking.
And what a year it’s been. Set against a backdrop of record investment levels, ongoing maturation of the market and evolution of the relationships between startups, scaleups and incumbents – not least with the growth of Open Innovation and Embedded Insurance.
We produce this report to celebrate all that’s good and great about change in the world of insurance and so we hope you find it an interesting read.
