Bennetts is a specialist motorbike insurance broker. It has around 200 staff, and is headquartered in Peterborough, with a contact centre in Coventry, England.
The company has around 200,000 customers, making it one of the biggest companies for specialist motorcycle insurance. It claims to provide quotes to over 600,000 riders a year (around 50%of the motorcycling population in the UK).
Originally owned by BGL Group, Bennetts was sold to Saga Group in 2015 for a reported £26.26m. In 2019, Saga put the company up for sale, and the following year, in February, it was confirmed the Ardonagh Group would buy Bennetts for an enterprise value of £26m.
