Aviva Ventures overview

Aviva Ventures is the wholly owned venture arm of Aviva, investing in a range of early stage InsurTech startups. It provides investment, and access to Aviva’s global operation for entrepreneurs with startups that are of strategic relevance to Aviva.

Based in London, Aviva's key innovation themes are mobility, prevention, wellbeing, wealth, open finance, new services and data & AI.

Aviva Ventures offers investments of £1-5m for up to 20% equity. This is typically for a Seed+ or Series A round.

During April 2023 Aviva committed a further £150m. The new fund's first investment was in Scan.com, a business helping individuals and organisations book diagnostics scans such as MRI, ultrasounds and x-rays. The company launched in 2017 and has a 150-strong network of scanning centres across the United Kingdom, helping over 10,000 patients. Aviva said the investment into Scan.com was a statement of its intent regarding future investments.

Members of Aviva Ventures portfolio include Neos, Roost, AppyParking and Outdoorsy.
