Snapsheet's software as a service (SaaS) platform allows intake of information from various customer channels, including e-mail, text, or a web and mobile app, allowing insurance carriers to better engage customers and process claims more quickly. It also enables them to directly deposit payments into customers' bank accounts, easing the claims process while providing superior customer engagement and workflow optimisation. The software covers auto, property and injury for personal and commercial claims, and incorporates automation derived from data collected from 1M+ processed claims across 70+ blue-chip carriers and non-traditional innovators.
Snapsheet's products include Appraisals, Transactions, the Rental & Asset Management Platform and the Snapsheet Software Platform, which enables insurers to execute engagement strategies across all channels.
Towards the end of 2018 Snapsheet partnered with Zurich. The partnership marked a global expansion for Snapsheet, making it available in Europe, Latin America and Asia Pacific. Altogether Snapsheet works with more than 70 insurance carriers around the world.
In May 2019 Snapsheet announced it had closed $29m in Series E funding, led by Tola Capital. The funding is being used to accelerate the delivery of its end-to-end SaaS claims platform, as well as further develop its advanced analytics capabilities.
In January 2020 Shapsheet integrated fraud detection technology from FRISS to ensure its insurer clients protection against fraudulent activity.
Snapsheet partnered with Insurance Auto Auctions (IAA) in March 2020 to combine their offerings into one solution, helping reduce claims cycle time and automating data exchange.
A few months later, in May, Snapsheet announced a strategic partnership with Shift Technology. The move brings together Shift's AI-fraud detection and claims automation and Snapsheet's claims management and virtual appraisal solution. In practice this means Snapsheet users will benefit from pro-active notifications of fraudulent claims.
In June 2020 Snapsheet and Clearcover expanded their partnership, with Snapsheet now disbursing digital payments to claimants and vendors for Clearcover, on top of digitising the other steps in the claims process. The move provides better payment status transparency for customers, as well as offering increased opportunities for automation.
In September 2020 Snapsheet partnered with Kin Insurance, enabling an automated experience, omni-channel engagement, and end-to-end claims management from FNOL through to settlement.
In March 2021 Snapsheet raised $30m through a Series E2 funding round led by Ping An Global Voyager Fund and Pivot Investment Partners. The company, which offers end-to-end, no-code automation solutions, also revealed it had added 17 new software clients since 2020, bringing its total to over 100.
In May 2021 Scor announced a new strategic partnership with Snapsheet. Through the partnership, SCOR clients will have access to Snapsheet’s end-to-end claims management platform, digital payments platform, motor virtual appraisal offering, and a comprehensive set of third-party integrations.
In July 2021 Snapsheet partnered with homeowners insurtech Openly to provide claims management software.
The following month, in August, Snapsheet announced a new partnership with Branch Insurance. They will help Branch, who have created a bundled home and auto product, deliver a new modern claims experience to its users.
In July 2023 Snapsheet secured an undisclosed investment from State Farm Ventures. State Farm's investment signifies their commitment to customer-centric solutions and streamlining the claims process.
With over 140 clients across the US, Canada, and Europe, Snapsheet aims to drive automation, reduce costs, and improve accuracy for insurance carriers.
