Life.io overview

Life.io is a customer engagement solution for the insurance and financial service industries, specifically designed to attract, retain, and grow customers. Life.io helps increase customer engagement, rewarding them for learning about and taking steps to improve their wellbeing. Adaptive and dynamic programs help users tackle health goals, manage personal finances, and navigate major life events, such as purchasing a home or raising a family.

By helping people achieve their goals, insurer clients of Life.io improve their brand image, while providing their customers with security and trust. Built on a foundation of scientific research, Life.io uses behavioural economics, social psychology, and personalised content to nurture a community of highly engaged consumers. Insurers can capture these insights and use them to build brand loyalty, accelerate growth, minimise policy risk, and streamline underwriting.

In 2018, Life.io announced new partnerships with SuiteBreak and Human API, adding capabilities relating to incentive programmes and medical data, enabling Life.io offer clients new dimensions to streamline their businesses and enhance customer engagement.

In 2019 it was announced SE2 was to become a majority owner in Life.io. Although the terms of the transaction were not revealed, it was confirmed that the management team would remain unchanged.

In October 2020, Life.io partnered with Unqork to offer insurers a new digital purchasing platform that reduces friction for clients and advisors.
