KRY’s in a healthcare company that have produced an app where you can meet a doctor or therapist at any time or location using your phone or tablet. KRY is the market leader and only CE-certified, app-based service for meeting doctors through video meetings in Sweden. Through their strategic partnerships they can deliver healthcare at the patient’s convenience, whilst reducing the pressure on traditional healthcare providers so that they can provide better care for those patients most in need of it.

Patients input symptoms into the app and then schedule a video consultation of up to 15 minutes with a healthcare specialist (multi-lingual healthcare specialists are available).

Kry currently operates in Sweden, France, Germany, Norway and the UK. It has a network of over 700 clinicians, which have in turn taken part in over 1.4m patient meetings.

In January 2020 Kry raised a €140m Series C round, led by Ontario Teachers' Pension Plan, Teachers' Innovation Platform. Previous investors, such as Accel and Index Ventures, also participated. The company has stated it will use the funding to expand into new European markets, further improve its product, and make new health hires.

Kry launched its video consultation platform Livi Connect in the US in April 2020 after Covid-19 caused a spike in demand for telehealth services..

Kry raised $300m in funding in April 2021, tripling its previous 2020 $700m valuation to $2bn. Kry plans to use the new funding to expand geographically, add a mental health offering, and explore further acquisitions and partnerships.

Kry is based in Sweden and has a team of more than 300 employees.
