Bank of America is one of the world’s largest financial institutions, serving individual consumers, small- and middle-market businesses and large corporations with a full range of banking, investing, asset management and other financial and risk management products and services.
Today, they serve approximately 51 million consumer and small business relationships, with approximately 5,300 retail banking offices spanning 40 countries, and approximately 16,350 ATMs and award-winning online banking with 30 million active users and more than 13 million mobile users.
Bank of America offers industry-leading support to approximately 3 million small business owners through a suite of innovative, easy-to-use online products and services.
In mid-2018 it launched its virtual assistant, Erica, nationwide. Within the first year of launch, Erica had completed more than 50m client requests, and seen an engagement average of over 500k new users a month.
In 2019, it introduced Business Advantage 360, a new digital dashboard designed making it easier for entrepreneurs to manage the various financial aspects of their business.
In October 2020, Bank of America launched Life Plan, a new digital tool to help clients set and track goals based on their life priorities. Users can select goals across such subjects as finances, health, leisure and giving, and adjust them as life happens. The app offers personalised recommendations as progress is recorded, and users can schedule appointments with the bank for further discussion.
