L'olivier overview

L'olivier assurance auto is part of the Admiral Group and launched in 2011. It is the Group’s direct insurance brand in France.

L'olivier's mission is to bring to market a 100% digital offer, with competitive prices and offers, in a way that combines Admiral's experience with the agility of a startup. Customers are able to get auto insurance directly online and via the phone. Customers can also use these channels to get customer support, as well as via e-mail and on social networks.

In June 2021 the company partnered with Wakam to launch insurance for New Individual Electric Vehicles (such as electric scooters, hoverboards, and gyro wheels). Consumers can get a quote within five minutes, and choose from 3 levels of protection, starting from €3.60 a month.

In September 2021 Swiss Re entered a partnership with Blabla Car and L’olivier Assurance to launch a digital motor app in France. BlaBlaCar Coach will offer drivers personalised coaching and tips for safer driving, available with annual insurance. The app analyses the driver’s conduct at the wheel, including phone usage and other distractions, without any additional equipment having to be installed, and can lead to savings on insurance.
