SureStart

SureStart is an online insurance distribution company,  providing a range of services across the various elements of the eCommerce eco-system. SureStart enables anyone to buy or sell digital financial services, instantly and seamlessly, by using the cloud-based Briisk Instant Transaction Platform.

SureStart provides digital strategy innovation, platform optimisation services as well as sales channel enhancement.

They currently operate in Africa, the Middle East East, United Kingdom and Turkey. The company has secured its first undisclosed Series-A Round venture capital funding from an Europe institutional investor.

In 2019 SureStart acquired South Africa insurance comparison platform CompareGuru from Silvertree Holdings. The acquisition total was not disclosed. Founding Director Hanno Van Aarde stated the acquisition would enable SureStart to further their customer reach and offer access to value-adding insurance products..

SureStart was originally founded in 2011 by Hanno van Aarde, who has since gone on to found Hepstar and Briisk Ltd.
