ZugarZnap ceased operations in 2019.
ZugarZnap’s online platform looked to engage customers with more than just financial products, advertising competition opportunities, charitable campaigns and social content, to make the experience of buying insurance fundamentally different to the industry norm. By offering peripheral content, ZugarZnap tried to reach beyond renewal and claim customer touch-points, improving the frequency of engagement between customers and insurers.
The venture also planned to offer Car Excess and Travel Insurance cover.
ZugarZnap expanded outside the UK into France and Germany in a joint venture with German-based Mass Up. The company offered ZugarZnap’s niche lifestyle insurance products through its integrated online platform, making it instantly deployable across digital channels and devices.
